Hello everyone!!!
Beautiful day here in Oz with Spring really settling in!!! Lovely warm days, cooler nights and salad weather at last, I have been hanging out for a clean crisp garden salad without the need to feel warm from eating!!
So my friend Lisa went to her besties wedding (go on check it out at the Crafting Cottage) at the weekend and she was feeling poorly yesterday, sore back from dancing she says, but I thing it was a bit of WineFlu, laced with that nasty JitterBug!!! 🙂
Love that girl. Did you all know it is her birthday coming up and that her friends at the Cutting Garden gave her a really really stupendous birthday pressie??? I am so so pea-green with envy!!! Go check it out at the Crafting Cottage, I cannot even say what it was, saying someone other than me got something this spesh for their birthday tastes like vinegar to me…. joking Lisa!!!
So here is a card made using the Hello Doily Die, it is very subtle and it looks so pretty. No it is not her birthday card.
The background panel is stamped with Colorbox Pigment Ink Oyster White (palest pink) and embossed with clear embossing powder. Zigzag ribbon, the PATP border (I love this one and cannot get away from it), a double bow, butterflies, flower (Daisy – Creased Petals Tutorial) some pearl sprays and a birthday greeting.
See even Ted thinks it is gorgeous, he is shuffling his legs trying to get up for a closer look!!
Let’s see if we can get a closer look at the embossing.
Very pretty, feminine and delicate.
OK just one more.
I am thinking I might have to try something very very different for my next one. Has Lisa done a Doily card for me? She best hurry up get on with it.
Thanks for calling in, hope you day is going great!!
Lauren 🙂
Hey there Lauren! There you go showing off those beautful flowers again!! Love LOVE this card! The embossing is so pretty and that ribbon is to die for! Now tou just keep up the cheek about the wine flu! Lol! I had one glass of wine at the wedding so it wasn’t the flu but you are bang on about the jitterbug! I am truly getting old! Lol! I will get to work on my doily card to give you something pretty to look at 🙂 *hugs* love this card! It would make a lovely birthday card for me!!! Hint hint! 😉
Lisa you are wonderful, thank you for your lovely words…. But I did say this is not your birthday card!! Hugs.. xx
