Hello Everybody!!!

Lauren and Teddy up today!!!!  Oh we just love sun-filled Winter Days!!! At the moment we are getting mega fogs in the morning and that fog burns off to be such a sunny day, we open the blinds and let the warmth come inside.  When it is like that I love to craft and Teddy and I have been doing a bit of that lately for you!!!

So we thought we would show you a couple of cards we have made for you 🙂

Oh today we have used one of the A2Z Scraplets Stencils Pebblestones – Stencilets & Masklets on the background with CM Metallic Silver, and sprinkled with Embossing Powder (Adirondak Wild Plum) and then heated.  I love this result.  Also used a recent release Decorative 9 Corner Set of 2 and painted it with Viva Inka Gold, so shiny, so beautiful, so vibrant.  You could use a paste or spray from the Colour Blast range in store.

Handmade flowers by me using the EK Success Flower punch in Whale and Medium size.  Tutorial here to make the flowers.

The second card we have for you has used those fabulous words for cards that A2Z Scraplets have available.  I love them.  Handmade holes around the edge of the card, but no stitching in it.

Lots of dies, a stamp and I love those little rosettes that I have used a scoreboard to make, then decorated with charms, flowers and pearls to match my card. Leaves are painted with Glimmer Glaze.

Love that leaf die, it is by Crafty Ann and not sure whether Cheery Lyn have picked it up since they took over.

So proud of ourselves with this one!!  You know I like to recycle, well I have recycled the ‘outer’ of the Star Set of 2 Flourish, so 3 cards out of this chippie, how clever is that.  We have coated it with Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Powder. Went with  purple glitter paper behind it, as I found some leftover star shapes in my diecut box.

This close up gives you an idea of how dimensional and textured this card is.  I love it!!!

Thanks for calling in, have fun papercrafting and get your hands messy with mediums!!!

Love Lauren xxxx

Lauren and Teddy up on the blog for you today with some cards that we hope you will enjoy looking at 🙂  You might even get some inspiration from them!!! We hope so.

So simple but then so pretty, I have used a Memory Box Stencil – Texture Mesh for the background with texture paste and then sprayed it with Ranger Perfect Pearl Spray Cappuccino, added some sprayed lace and rose ribbon.

The A2Z Scraplets is Vine Flourish Shape 1.  I have coloured it with Tombow Brush Pens and then used Stamp-It Dye Based Embossing Powder – Transcendence to make it shimmer and shine.
The fabulous flat black words for cards in GET WELL are so new and so exciting, they are not yet on the website, so watch out for them in the next release.  All ready to go and need no work if in a hurry.

Oh and here is another one for you, Teddy loves this one best.

Again we have used these fabulous A2Z Scraplets Words for Cards – Get Well. Matte black and ready to go.  We have put it over the lovely white and glittery sugar beads (mix of small seed beads and micro beads.

We have used my favourite A2Z Scraplet Swirly Corners Medium Set of 2 here, painted with Ranger Distress Paint Victorian Velvet, sprinkled with loads of glitter and topped with Inkssentials Glossy Accents.  Decorated with some mulberry flowers with their wires curled to a spiral and a pearl spray.

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I took my first step into videoland and today I stepped again, 🙂

Today I am showing you how to ruffle the ribbon like I do on so many of my cards, it gives that great texture and fullness to sheer ribbon.

Here is the link to the video on youtube Tutorial Ruffled Ribbon Laurenscraft, hope you like it.  I am not polished at this, but we could wait forever for that, so you might as well get some hints along the way to perfection.

This is a pretty little card to make someone feel much better.  My  usual style with embossed brads to change the colour, ribbon and bows, die cuts, leaves and flowers.  🙂

Thanks for calling in.

Hugs 🙂

Hi Everyone, Yes I made a card, what a surprise!!! Great day here today, warm sunny day, perfect Summer.

This card is for the Alphabet Challenge on SCS.  My story continues:

“Coming to celebrate with a cheery party, the crew cuddled close together around the campfire, checking out the cake adorned with one candle.  Carol cut the cake and handed Clarence a slice.  As he chewed the yummy cake, crumbs cascaded to the ground and the Corgi and the cat competed to clean the crumbs up.

After the celebration the comrades left the cove in the canoes, coming to Clovelly to casually stroll over to the circus to see the clowns.  When the clowns concluded their cycle tricks everyone said cheerio and headed home.”

Canoe at the Cove

Now that does look like a canoe, doesn’t it?? Well it could be if you would use that imagination I know you have.  Well it is definitely in a Cove.

Love using navy and white.  The image is by Stamp-It, coloured with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

Hope you like it.

Lauren
