Hello Everyone!!

Oh you know every time I post I tell myself that I will post the next day too, and guess what?  It just never happens.

Well I am posting today!!

This is a card where I have used 3 types of patterned paper, it is so rare that I do that, I am not comfortable with mixing and matching patterns.  There are some people who have a real gift for it and I love the 6×6 paper pads of coordinating papers available, this is the only way I can do this.  And did you see, a picture from the papers saves me the stamp and colour routine.  I believe I have all colouring methods known to man in my craft room and the only ones I can even passably use are the watercolours, so hopeless with colour this girl.  No wonder I only wanted to draw in graphite, grey graphite at that!!

Well I hope you like it, I personally love the stitching and am really almost on first name terms with my sewing machine.

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone,

Wet Easter here in Oz’s east coast, but so good for the tanks and the farmers, who could complain?  Hoping you had a happy and safe Easter, travelled safe and enjoyed your family and friends, didn’t overdose on chocolate and hot cross buns and took the time to reflect on the season.

Love the stitching on this card, the paper used (Kaisercraft) the die cuts, ribbon, lace and the flower.  Looks so busy, bu tis really a simple card to make.

Hope you like it.

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone,

Well seems I am on a roll with the blogging and the cardmaking.  I do love to fiddle in my craftroom and make things, especially things with dies on them.

SANY2966

Thi one is a 5×5 inch panel for the card with ink burnished edging A smaller panel of paper and 2 ribbon cuts of matching paper, all stitched around the edge and burnished with ink as well.  The ink used is Ranger Distress Vintage Photo (because it is easy and I have the sponge applicators for it, so convenient).

The card is finished with die cuts from Marianne and Joy, a flower made with EK Success Whale of a Punch and Medium flower, a ribbin cut sentiment from Penny Black (gorgeous stamps) and some swirly pearls.

Oh and on the background there is shabby ribbon and lace as well.  I really like this one.

Hope you get crafty real soon.

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year to you all, wishing you the best of everything for the coming year and planning to blog again this year with pieces of my heart and creativity.

So I made you a card.

I am in love with ribbon cuts and am using them on almost every card I make. Also doing a lot of sewing too, added element that stitching gives.  And I also love that new die, the Joycraft Billie’s Circle is the most fabulous doily there was ever made.  Also the flower is made with a Quickcutz die 3 petal flower shaped like a shamrock, lovely, endless possiblilties for this die too.

Hope you have a great day!

Hugs 🙂
