Hello Everyone,

Be sure to check out my tutorials on the right hand column down a ways on this blog.  I use the things I have done tutorials for all the time, and love them.

so I made a card.

SANY3787

Love this card, a 5″x5″ card with a paper panel on the front.  This panel has been double stitched around and a Kaiser die cut Doily has been added.  The new (to me) Memory Box butterfly and foliage die makes a great focal.  I have put a gold shimmer under each butterfly and added black mini roses.  The ribbon and bow finish off  nicely and then added bling.

Hope you like it.

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone,

Had to go shop at Officeworks today, almost out of white card, oh and shimmer paper as well, love that stuff and tend to go through heaps of it.  And while I was out I get to have a check of Spotlight and also Eckersleys, hmmm love the smell of new art supplies 🙂

So I made a card for you.

SANY3822

This one is for a challenge on the Facebook group ACCC, Feathers of course.

It is a 5″x5″ card, with a panel on front that I have used a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set to give a lacy border.  Designer paper on the front of that from Graphic 45 My Secret Garden. My favourite ribbon treatment and a bow of course.  A flower cut with MFT Plentiful Petals and Marianne Dies Feathers.  Some real feathers and loads of bling and glitter.

Hope you like it 🙂

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone,

Two posts in one day really and you will be wondering what is happening, but I also wanted to share this little gem with you!!

SANY1928

I do love vintage looking cards and all my darkening for that distessed, dimensional look is done with Ranger Distress Ink Walnut Stain.  My stamping is done with it too.

I got a new Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page called Wild Flowers and it is gorgeous and when done as a border and then inked it is so pretty.  I only had a small strip of this beautiful Bella Arcadia paper left so needed to do something and how clever to cover the join with ruffled ribbon and bows.

The three biggest roses are made by Lauren, but the two little ones are bought (it is so fiddly to make the tiny ones) and all have been inked to give the darkened petal edges.  The leaf is a Accucut Die.

Oh and I am finding I love birdies, they are so cute, just being part of the design.  This one is new, a set of three little fellas from Mariannes Dies, they are so cute!!  And this is finished with the ribbon cut for the sentiment (Paper Xtra clear stamp) and some bling.  Gotta love bling!!

Hope your day is going great!!

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone,

I have had a great day today, playing most of it in my little craft room, making a rock star!!! But I will show you that another day.  Also found a photo taken in Spring of a bottle brush that the birds love to fight over.  Great hiding and great eating too I think.

The tree is a Callistemon, but I don’t know its more specific names, but he has a red honeyeater in it, because he loves the nectar in the bottle brush blooms.  Pretty bird, pretty tree.

So with that I will show you the other card I made today for the Alphabet Challenge over on Splitcoaststampers.  We are up to Letter I, so this fits in perfectly.

This is a great sentiment.  This card is a tone on tone with a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page (my favourite one), ruffled ribbon with bow and a narrow ribbon both edged in gold, a butterfly covered with Ranger Inkssentials Glossy Accents (love love love that stuff) and some rhinestones.  Very simple, very elegant.

Little Tip:  When I ruffle my ribbon like this, I find the only tape or adhesive that works well and does not ‘let go’ later is the Ranger Red Tape, I call it redline tape.  You know the one I mean, it has a red backing and is super super sticky.  Oh my I need to get some more of it and it is on my shopping list, so don’t worry.

Well I hope you like today’s offerings, I will be back tomorrow for you.

Thanks for calling in to take a look, hope your day is going great.

Hugs :)

Hello Everyone,

My friend Miss Lynn aka FMcrafter from over on Splitcoaststampers will be hosting a new (brand new) challenge in the new year, oh my are we ready for  this??? It will be the Can You Do It Challenge, so it is gonna be a test, haha……  So keep tuned for info coming your way.

And also for info on how to get your hands on something like this.

SANY1803

These packs contain lace, two lots of ribbon, six flowers fully assembled inked and with bling centres, three butterflies with bling and wings coated with ink and Glossy Accents, plus a four strips of sticky bling.  How good is that, and there are three of these on offer.

So after all this I had to make a card!!

SANY1789

So how good is this and it could be made with one of those great packs.  My favourite style of card in pink with Punch Around the Page and inked in pink.  A piece of one of my favourite papers that I have also put script over.  Pink lace, pink ruffled ribbon and a double bow.  A fairly new die (Cheery Lynn flourish) and three of those lovely flowers with beautiful bling centres and a couple of butterflies and a sentiment.

You know I found a couple of Ozzie websites today that have my most favourite evah, Punch Around the Page and I am wondering if I have already bought myself enough for Christmas or if I should have another little indulgence…. decisions….

Well while I ponder on that one, I will have to finish this post so you can feast your eyes.

Thanks for calling in, hope your day is going well.

Hugs :)

Hello Everyone,

Doesn’t that give you images of being carefree and very young?  Does for me.  Now I cannot see through my glasses if they get wet from the rain, and I am not sure I like the feeling of the waterdrops of being out in the rain.  What an old grouch I am turning into!!

Well at least I am happy most of the time, but I keep telling everyone that I am not as nice as I used to be.  So funny.

So today I made a pink card with a wonderful sentiment on it.  So bright, cheery and feminine.

This one hits the spot for me.  Punch Around the Page Deco Arches (my favourite) with Colorbox Fluid Chalk Pastel Pink Direct to paper around it.  A pink stripe paper by I have no clue.  That wonderful organie ribbon in soft pink ruffled  over pink lace and a double bow.  A pink flower by Lauren from an EK Success retro punch.  A button centre (cute) and bling in the middle of the button.

A lovely flourish and a circle from Memory Box with a  decorated circle for the sentiment.  Some butterlfies and more bling.  Yes this card has all the elements I love.  I am still trying to figure out putting embossing in here somewhere….

Thanks for calling in, hope your day is going well.

Hugs :)

Hello Everyone,

Such a pretty card to post today, but first I need to show you the bling I bought at the cheap shop the other day, so exciting to find something fabbie like that!!

I first saw it there on Friday and bought two of the clear and one pink.  Then over the weekend I thought about it and went back on Monday to buy this little lot.  The gold was all gone by the time I got there, but I have loads to be getting along with. 🙂

So I suppose I should show you are card I made with it.  Or some of it.

Ah how pretty is this?  Look at the blingie in that flower.  Well that one originates in China and came on a slow boat.  Ok so it is my usaual style again.

Love this Punch Around the Page, and the inking.  Only have another piece or two of this paper, so not much to do with that.  Love the stamp, very very  lovely sentiment.  Love the layers and the dies.  Oh yes it has it all, borders, check, ink, check,  dies, check, ribbon, check, bling, check, butterflies, check, sentiment, check, like it said it is all there!!

Thanks for calling in, hope your day is going well.

Hugs :)
