Hello Everybody!!!

Oh my it is getting into Winter and it is brrrr cold inside and out.  Today is the Winter Solstice so that means that at least the days will be growing longer even if the temperature keeps dropping for a while.

So with this in mind I made a card to share with you all.

SANY3733

My favourite size card, in square 5 inch. Background is patterned paper with just a touch of Ranger Distress Ink in Vintage Photo around the edge.  Doily from Cheery Lynn is French Pastry.  Chipboard is the new thick cut, 1.8mm from A2Z Scraplets (my favourite chippie in the world) painted white and while wet spritzed with Glimmer Mist Black Cherry.  When dry the chipboard is covered fairly thickly with Glossy Accents.

Finished with a bow made from mesh ribbon and a handmade flower using a Carl Daisy Punch.   Stmped sentiment on the doily is from Stamp-It Australia.  Then a few bling rhinestones are added.

Hope you like it!!

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone,

Oh I am not so sure I am liking this cold weather, hmmm might have to run around the craft room, it is too cold to go outside you know!!

So I made a card, just because I could and I created a new flower with an old die!!

Oh my I am liking the colour of this card, I finally found my Wisteria refill for my Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink, it is so pretty.  I was so excited that I created an easel card 🙂

You can see I am stuck on those Marianne birds at the moment, and I love them in black and this time I have given them mauve eyes, all the better for them to see with.  Lovely green foliage from Sizzlet die Branch.

And a beautiful flourish of bling all over the place.  Hmmm…. I think swirley bling was made for me…. I love it.

So look at this new flower 🙂 It is made with the MFT die Plentiful Petals, but instead of curling the petals down, I have creased along the middle of each petal and creased the petal up.  So dahlia like.  I am wrapped.  Ok so it did take longer, but I don’t mind, I just love making flowers.

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone,

Today I was talking to my friend Lisa and I love the way she has organised her craft room, so pretty, so decorated with flowers everywhere.  This made me realise that my room is very functional, but more like a workspace than a pretty environment, so this is my new project.

So before I get started on the main task, I procrastinated and made a card!!

Hope you like it!!! Thanks for calling in.

Hello Everyone, so it has been harder to get back into blogging than I thought, so easy to get into bad habits and so much harder to relearn good ones.

So I bought myself an Anya Border and just had to make this cad with it.  Love the apparent simplicity of it, the CAS style, although it is not simple at all.  This is my take two as the boder does not really line up opposite itself.

Well Teddy is sure blown away, he has forgiven me for not taking his photo for a while, and keeping him in the dark.  I have used lilac shimmer card under the cut out and kept the remainder of the card in white, even so far as the flowers.

Hope you like it!! Have a great day!!

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone!!!

Quick post today with a stamp from my new Stamp-It unmounted rubber set with everything time on it.  I have wanted this for a while, so thank you Santa!

SANY1820

I have used Ranger Distress Ink Antique Linen to colour my base cream card. then attached some 3 inch wide cream lace.  I have cut some of those wonderful Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish and used them under the focal panel.

The focal cut with a label die and while still in the die I have sponged over with the Antique Linen.  It is stamped with a wonderful sentiment from this set in Ranger Distress Ink Walnut Stain (deep brown and beautiful), also  inked around the edge.

I have embellished with a rhinestone on the clock hands and a butterfly and flower.

Very simple, easy card.  Thanks for calling in.

Hugs :)

Hello Everyone,

What a beautiful morning in paradise, it must be as I live in paradise!! Cannot believe the new year is off and running already…. My but time goes so fast!!  Well this year I have decided to take things a bit easier and  relax and craft everyday of the year!!

Did you make a New Year’s Resolution?  Dare I ask how it goes?  I always make resolutions, some work some don’t and some take all year to happen.  I used to make a resolution to give up smoking every year and then one year I did just that, took me over 30 attempts and until October of that year to do it, but did it I did!!! So there is hope for all resolutions.

So I will give you my Amazing creation of today.

My friend Helen cut some of these Cuttlebug cut and emboss panels for me Christmas before last, can you believe that?  So long ago.  And this is my last one.  I have framed my flower with it and used that very special Fanciful Flourish from Cheery Lynn, love that die.

Very simple card, very pretty and cheery too.  Butterflies and flowers are my signature I think.

Thanks for calling in.

Hugs :)
