Hello Everyone,

Just a quick post today with a card that I made a little while ago for the Alphabet Challenge Letter U for underwear.  Well a corset is underwear isn’t it?

I had such a good time making this card, the journey was wonderul.  And look at that Teddy he loves the card too!!

Everything on this card has been coloured with Ranger Distress Ink Vintage Photo.  Oatmeal A6 base card layered with some vintage music paper which has been stamped with Ranger Distress Ink Walnut Stain with vintage type stamps.  The string was hand sewn after punching all the holes for the stitches.  The string is recycled from onion bags, washed and then stained with distress ink.  The lace was added next.

The tags and sentiment panel are plain white, sponged and then stamped, distressed and then added to the card.  Buttons are recycled and the pearls embellish the tags along with ribbon.

Thanks for calling in, hope your day is going well.

Hugs :)

Today the Alphabet Challenge – Letter J was posted on Splitcoaststampers and our Hostess Diane did not disappoint in her twist on the challenge.

The rules are, there really are no rules except that it is a card representative of the letter J, but she gives us a few challenges to play along with and we can use all or any or only one.  Whatever we do is fine by Diane.

Challenge A:  Anything goes
Challenge B:  Use a word starting with the letter J
Challenge C:  Make it green
Challenge D:  Rough it up around the edges
Challenge E:  Fill it in by making a collage background
Challenge F:  Jewel it up a bit.

Oh I loved it all, so I made a card.

Challenge A:  yes it is a card, so that is anything goes with J is for Joy
Challenge B:  yes it has the word JOY on it in chipboard letters
Challenge C:  yes it has a green base card and a green ribbon and bow
Challenge D:  yes it is roughed it up a bit with a distressing tool
Challenge E:  yes it has a collage background stamped in white and heat embossed with clear powder

Excellent got them all covered.  I really did get excited about this one, as soon as it was posted I knew what I was going to make. Gotta love that!!

Tools List:

Various stamps
Colorbox Pigment Ink Frost White
Transcendence Embossing Powder by Stamp-It
