Hello Everybody!!

Teddy and I have been doing some crafting and what is better we have been doing some blogging.  Wet Spring here, bad hailstorms on Thursday and showers ever since, night time mostly, very heavy rain.

So we made you a card.

This card was made for a card swap on Willow’s Card Swaps on Facebook, it is an Aussie only site, so saves postage 🙂

My usual 5″x5″ square card that is to a sketch and so simple.  I have used washi tape and one of my favourite stamps by Lucy, (Kaszazz these days)  I also used to washi tape to make it fit into a challenge on the Aussie Creative Crafts and Challenges site that I admin on (Teddy is the creative director).  The Challenge is Double Up or Two of a Kind, (2 types washi tape)  How clever is that??

Well we hope you like it, so much fun sometimes to make something totally different 🙂

Hugs 🙂

Hello Everyone,

What a beautiful sunny morning it is in Paradise!  You know that is where I live, wonderful place to call home.  Surrounded by greenery and nice people, what else would you call it??

So today I thought I would show you a gorgeous creation using a Marianne Butterfly.

The background is inked with Ranger Distress Ink Peacock Feathers to change it from a fawny yellow colour to a lovely teal 🙂 But the sparkly bits still are there and the original pattern. I like that.

The butterfly is layered to give the impression of movement and blinged with stones similar to the new background.  And would a card be mine without ribbon and a bow??

Hope you enjoy your day, thanks for calling by

Hugs  🙂

Hello Everyone,

I have been a little absent during the Christmas Period, it is such a rush with things happening and people to see, so I wanted to spend any spare time with my DH Keith and friends, or to play my silly games on Facebook.  My friend Lisa (bad Lisa) got me into a hidden object game, and you know I love love love them.

But I am back with you and Miss Lisa and I had a little Skype Session to Challenge each other to make a card from Pinterest that she loved.  Check it out http://pinterest.com/pin/244812929715528670/ it is the most beautiful CAS card so here is my take on it.  Make sure you pop on over to Lisa’s Crafting Cottage to see her fabulous creation.

How good is this, so different for me, I always think that Clean and Simple are never finished.  But you know I really really like this, it is my favourite card I have made for a while.  Not sure if it is the colour (Ranger Distress Ink Peacock Feathers) or the CAS of the thing.

I have stamped the three sizes of butterfly onto the card and also onto scrap and cut them out to overlay with dimensional tape underneath.  I have used Glossy Accents on the top layer and put some rhinestones on them.  I am loving the look of Glossy Accents on my butterflies.  Sometimes I get into a rut and forget to get out.  But they do look nice.

So simple, no flowers, no ribbon, no bows, no pink, can I live with this…. YES!!!

So go and have a look at the original and at Lisa’s too.  You will love them all.  Do you Pinterest??? I think you should.

Thanks for calling in.

Hugs :)

Hello Everyone,

My friend Miss Lynn aka FMcrafter from over on Splitcoaststampers will be hosting a new (brand new) challenge in the new year, oh my are we ready for  this??? It will be the Can You Do It Challenge, so it is gonna be a test, haha……  So keep tuned for info coming your way.

And also for info on how to get your hands on something like this.

These packs contain lace, two lots of ribbon, six flowers fully assembled inked and with bling centres, three butterflies with bling and wings coated with ink and Glossy Accents, plus a four strips of sticky bling.  How good is that, and there are three of these on offer.

So after all this I had to make a card!!

So how good is this and it could be made with one of those great packs.  My favourite style of card in pink with Punch Around the Page and inked in pink.  A piece of one of my favourite papers that I have also put script over.  Pink lace, pink ruffled ribbon and a double bow.  A fairly new die (Cheery Lynn flourish) and three of those lovely flowers with beautiful bling centres and a couple of butterflies and a sentiment.

You know I found a couple of Ozzie websites today that have my most favourite evah, Punch Around the Page and I am wondering if I have already bought myself enough for Christmas or if I should have another little indulgence…. decisions….

Well while I ponder on that one, I will have to finish this post so you can feast your eyes.

Thanks for calling in, hope your day is going well.

Hugs :)
